Hi Crafters
We are always busy, but this past week or two has been frenetic!! We had a smile at the photo below. It sums up our week with the local courier company...
In addition to the hundreds of parcels we've sent out, the courier company also had new drivers to train, sick staff and then the van broke down late last week. So we know that there have been delays with your parcels which are out of our control. I promise the staff have been printing and packaging furiously for days to get your parcels to you in a timely fashion.
Graham and I are also on our final roadshow this week. We were in Dunedin for the weekend and it was fabulous to see such a great turnout. Many thanks for your kind words, gifts and cards. You are a special lot you crafters!! We are off to Invercargill for our final roadshow there starting Tuesday/Wednesday. Click here for more details.
Our last day in the shop is next Thursday (29th March) and so we are busy trying to ensure all the request items you have on order arrive in time and that we make contact with people who have shop credit, or items that they haven't yet paid for. I'ts going to be hard work to tidy up all the loose ends!! Jo Flannery (the new owner of Artfull Crafts) will be opening the shop from Tuesday 3rd April (closed all Easter sorry). She's been busy running a retreat this weekend too, so between us all there is a lot to do!

Meanwhile the shop and website still has new products flooding though the door! Extra staff are on deck to help us through. Keep reading for the the new Graphic 45 products that have arrived (pre-orders have all been packaged up and you'll have happy mail coming this week!), fabulous new Hotfoil Stamps for your Hotfoil machines (I love mine), another Prima range that we forgot to load up recently, and heaps of miscellaneous new products that you'll find here just keep scrolling onto the second page to see the misc items)

Keep reading further down in the email for a more detailed outline of the pre-order ship dates for Tim Holtz and some WRMK items. If there's one thing I've learned being in retail, it's that dates from suppliers move around with great regularity!! We have only got 1-2 items still available for pre-order for the Glass MatsReplacement Non-Stick SheetsGuillotine and Travel Stamp Platform. Otherwise you'll have to wait for the new owner to advertise them.
Not every bloke can say that they're an expert at colour coordination...
In my case I have achieved an A+ from Liz for coordinating bits and pieces in the art of kit making. This is no small qualification, and I will be adding it to my CV immediately.

You can't help but notice the expression of pure joy and exuberance on my face during the prize-giving ceremony. Liz also sent this photo to my hunting mate Marc, who dutifully informed me that my shirt didn't match... And I'm fired.

These are the gorgeous new Hot Foil stamps from Couture Creations! When used with the GoPress Hot Foil machine these will leave a beautifully foiled designs on your cardmaking and scrapbooking projects. The Hot Foil Stamps work in a very similar way to die cuts, however instead of cutting out the designs it will imprint and foil the designs onto your cardstock.

Graphic 45 based this lovely collection on the beloved century-old novel revolving around the lives of the four March sisters and their story of domesticity, work, and true love. The classic imagery will evoke memories of generations of women from the past and present. The rich colour palette incorporates blush red, grassy green, vibrant yellow, and azure blue.

We R Memory Keepers (WRMK)
Some of these items have arrived, more are arriving tomorrow and the final batch are still another couple of weeks away. The staff are going to send on as many packages as possible and we will make contact by the end of the week if there is still something you're waiting on. Our supplier has a queue system which means the goods arrive in dribs and drabs - which is frustrating I know! Especially when the ship dates move around so much! We know that 80% of the goods will have been delivered by the end of tomorrow. The reinforce Hole Punches (from last year) are still on the later delivery date sorry - but we haven't forgotten you!

Tim Holtz Items - Glass Mats, Guillotines, Travel Platforms etc
As expected the Tim Holtz delivery dates have been pushed out again. It was early March, then late March and I've just been informed it will be April at the earliest. They are likely to be shipped and not airfreighted due to their weight, which adds to the delay. The staff will send them off to you when they arrive. It's just a case of us all being a little more patient. We have got them on order with 2 suppliers and so we are covering all our bases.
It's been lovely farwelling the Dunedin ladies this past weekend. Many of them are so excited for us with our upcoming travels and one of them gave us this great gift - Talc for ants. Who would have thought?! We're now off to the Dunedin shops to find a new merino and some socks before hitting the road to Invercargill. It's supposed to be 24 degrees, but with wind and rain?? I'm confused!
